Guide Dogs of Texas provides a meticulous matching process of client and guide dog, one-to-one customized training, and a lifelong aftercare program. The staff and volunteers of Guide Dogs of Texas are committed to ensuring quality and encompass the core values of compassion, honesty, and respect in their daily work. Guide Dogs of Texas conducts free tours of their training facility every 1st Thursday at 5:30 pm and every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9:00 am. The CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Mobile Mammography Program began June 16, 2005 and to date, nearly 6,600 women have been examined. When breast cancer is found very early, it can almost always be treated successfully. The goal of the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Mobile Mammography Program is to assure that all women have access to mammograms, which are the best means of detecting breast cancer in its earliest stage.
