The 2011 Storm Dance Troupe was chosen on Saturday, April 23 by a panel of judges including Storm play-by-play broadcaster Dick Fain, Andrea Nakano of King 5 Sports and KCPQ 13 Meteorologist MJ McDermott, Dance Troupe Coordinator Monae Thomas and Storm staff. After watching the last of three days of auditions, which was open to the public at Alderwood Mall and hosted by in-arena emcee Shellie Hart, the judges picked a 16-person Dance Troupe that features six newcomers to the roster.
